PWC Namibia is recruiting a Training Contract 2023 - (Forensics) (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The PwC forensic audit programme runs over a period of three years. Fraud, corruption and other economic crime, particularly when it concerns senior management, requires a thorough, professional and independent approach. A trainee in our forensic team is to apply knowledge in accounting, auditing, finance, quantitative methods, and certain areas of the law, research and investigative skills, to collect, analyze and evaluate evidential matter and to interpret and communicate findings
Requisites
- Must be a Namibian Citizen
- Students must be registered at a University that is recognized, e.g North-West University
- Namibians currently studying towards a B.Com Forensic Accounting / Honors Forensic Accounting are invited to apply
- Other requirements include proficiency in English, good communication skills, logical thinking to solve problems, working knowledge of technology, good social skills, and be able to work well in a team
- Students who obtained a bursary from another financial institution that requires the student to complete work after studies, will not qualify for the PwC traineeship programme
- Current University students studying towards a Chartered Accountant qualification are also invited to apply
- Shortlisted candidates will be subject to a personality and aptitude test
- Must be prepared to travel within Namibia and other African countries
- Must have a keen interest in further developing fraud investigations, litigation support and fraud-prevention skills
- Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
