Test Analyst

Duties

• To validate and verify that all system requirements are met from a user perspective thereby ensuring that the quality of systems being delivered to the business is of a high standard
• Responsibilities:
• Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Provide ad-hoc production support to resolve production issues Manage defects to address issues areas where test cases have failed Plan, analyze and coordinate testing activities for allocated projects and systems
• Provide input into the development of the tactical strategy, and develop and implement a supporting operational strategy Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
• Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organizational improvements
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own development
• Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs

• Minimum Qualification - Diploma or required certification in testing or programming
• Preferred Qualification - Degree and/or relevant certification including ISEB/ISTQB Certification; TMap Next Engineer; ISTQB Advanced Analyst
• Experience - 3 to 5 Years experience, including at least 2 years testing experience
• Additional Requirements:
• 1 to 2 years’ experience with knowledge of the Namibia National Payment System is an added advantage
