Team lead: Financial Reporting & Project Management

Description

• Job grade: D2 (Patterson grading)
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across the bank. Manage the bank’s general ledger, supervise financial accounting operations, and ensure compliance with all regulations. Act as a liaison with institutional investors, shareholders, and analysts

Duties

• Prepare and submit financial reports, statutory reports, and management accounts
• Oversee general ledger management and ensure adherence to internal controls
• Act as a point of contact for investor inquiries
• Develop financial models, presentations, and reports for investors and analysts
• Provide feedback on market perceptions of the bank
• Prioritize projects with strategic impact, ensuring structured project selection and maximized return on investments

Requisites

• A minimum of a Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Registered Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification
• Honours in Accounting/Finance is an advantage
• Experience: 5-+ years post-article experience
• Strong financial management, reconciliation, and financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of banking operations is essential
• Valid driver license
• Must be Namibian
• Skills & Abilities:
• Strong accounting and financial management skills, excellent reconciliation and documentation abilities, and a solid understanding of banking operations and financial analysis
