Systems Developer

Description

• The purpose of this position is to develop, deploy, administer, maintain and improve business systems and related ICT services
• DIVISION: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
• THE POSITION REPORTS TO THE MANAGER: BUSINESS SYSTEMS AND SERVICES

Duties

• Database/transactional Reporting
• Implement Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence requirements
• Develop, Administer and Maintain Business Systems
• Support and Train Business Systems users
• Developing and preparing documentation and operating manuals
• Testing and modifying systems to ensure that they operate reliably
• Develop, Maintain company Intranets & Websites
• Identify areas for possible improvements in Business Systems
• Database/transactional Reporting
• Implement Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence requirements

Requisites

• Qualifications and Experience:
• B Tech (or a BSc) in Information Technology/Computer Science majoring in Business Computing/ Software Engineering
• Two years Software Engineering experience
• Knowledge of SQL technologies
• Theoretical knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions
• Knowledge of:
• Systems Development and Optimization
• Business Computing
• Databases (MS SQL)
• C#, SQL, HTML, and PHP
• .NET FRAMEWORK
• Requirements Analysis
• Business Processes
• Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence
• Skills:
• Manage delivery
