Bank Windhoek is recruiting a Supervisor: Collection Administration, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The main duties are the management and control over the processes prior to the first instalment due on all new Mortgage Loans including on time capturing of Debit Orders, forwarding Stop Orders in time to Government and Payroll Companies, the collecting of monthly payments from companies and the capturing of payments on the system
Duties
- Administration:
- Control over remittances of payroll lists to companies
- Control over collecting of payments from companies
- Control over capturing of payments received from companies
- Control over follow-up on non-payments from companies
- Finalizing of weekly/monthly reports
- Control over updating of data on the payroll of government employees through administrators of their payroll offices
- Control over operating expenses and cost recovery
- Control over on time forwarding of Stop orders to Government Payroll offices
- Liaising with Payroll offices on a daily basis regarding short or non-payments
- Control over refunding of over payments and inform companies on time to stop deductions on paid-up accounts
- Control over Collateral requested and payments received
- Monthly/Quarterly visits to payroll offices including Ministerial departments
- Preparation of Deferment applications for Government employees and payroll companies
- Daily follow up on arrears on Governmental and payroll companies
- Diarizing of arrangements made and capturing on the system
- Recovery of all fees as per fees and charges manual
- Completion of O’10, responsible for O’10 documentation to be completed on time with necessary supportive documentation, motivation. and recommendations
- Reconciliation of office accounts on a daily basis
- Relieve Collections manager when not available for the day
- Sales Focus:
- Identify selling opportunities and refer such opportunities and leads to the correct person, department or branch involved
- Customer Focus:
- Provide professional customer service and give correct information to clients
- Good relationship with payroll and HR staff of companies
- Personnel Management:
- Application and utilization of personnel
- Personnel training, development and facilitation
- Evaluation of personnel
- Expertise:
- Adequate knowledge of Bank’s products and services and those provided by the competitors
- Adequate Knowledge of systems and procedures
- Adequate knowledge the general workflow of all different Mortgage Loans
- Conduct:
- Abide by and uphold the Banks “code of conduct” regarding professionalism, commitment, reliability, confidentiality, brand loyalty, behaviour in public discipline, etc
- Other duties:
- Willing to perform any other reasonable and lawful duties assigned by the management
Requisites
- Grade 12
- Certificate in Banking or Credit Diploma from IOB will be an added advantage
