Standard Bank is recruiting a Shift Administrator, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Monitor core systems and services and report anomalies to Applications & Infrastructure Support teams
- Execute duties on Day/Night shifts as per schedule, procedures and Production Report
- Facilitate Core System & related peripheral systems EOD/BOD
- Monitor and promptly inform custodians of faulty ATM’s
- Monitor Namibia Communication infrastructure and report down lines to Production Services team
- Monitor Namibia Communication infrastructure and report down lines to Production Services team. Perform back-up and restore procedures on the systems as per procedures
- Ensure that reports and statements are produced promptly and ready for distribution to Departments and Branches by 07H00
Requisites
- The incumbent should be in possession of a recognized Degree in Information Systems/Technology
- Certificate in IT Service Management would be advantageous
- ITIL V3 Foundation required, additional ITIL certifications an advantage
- Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Service Management. Knowledge of the ITIL
Change, Problem, Incident Management and knowledge Management processes. ITIL V3 Foundation or equivalent experience
- At least one (1) year’s working experience in a similar role
- Technical Competencies:
- Application Knowledge for Support: knowledge and experience required to ensure provision of application maintenance and support services. Support typically takes the form of investigating and resolving problems and providing information about the systems
- IT Systems - Knowledge and understanding of various IT systems and related configurations as applied within a specified business environment
- Root Cause Analysis - Knowledge and application of techniques that can be applied to determine the cause of process or control failures
