Old Mutual is recruiting a Senior Learning Facilitator (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- We have an exciting and challenging Learning Facilitator position in the Training Department. The incumbent will be required to independently perform all aspects of the learning cycle (needs analysis, research, design, development, implement and evaluate)
Duties
- Learning Delivery:
- Presents formal, informal, standardized, and customized learning interventions
- Conducts knowledge/skills assessment for each learning intervention
- Facilitates transfer of learning through aiding and/or support to ensure that workplace assessment is conducted
- Learning Design:
- Conducts training needs analysis for specified area
- Designs/develops and/or adapts existing learning material in support of workplace competence/needs analysis
- Pilots developed/adapted learning material prior to formal implementation
- Implements the new/adapted learning intervention
- Provides support for the designed/developed/adapted learning intervention
- Learning Effectiveness:
- Analyses trends related to the effectiveness and quality of the learning intervention
- Reports on the strengths and shortcomings of the learning events
- Personal Effectiveness:
- Accountable for service delivery through own efforts
- Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality
- Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills
- Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results
- Accepts and lives the company values
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- Bachelors in Human Resources Development or Bachelors in Education any other relevant degree
- Certification in Financial Planning (CFP) will be advantageous
- +3 years facilitating or training experience
- Drive for Continuous Professional Development
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Flexibility to travel to outlying areas in Namibia
- Must be computer literate (Power Point, Word, e-mail etc.)
- Self- starter, creative and Innovative person with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Personal Financial Advice (PFA) sales processes and products will be advantageous
- Fluent in English
