Senior Data Analyst

Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing research, analytics, dmvata management, and business intelligence initiatives
• This includes identifying and leading data projects to uncover insights that aid in strategic decision-making and improve operations
• Further to develop and manage data storage systems and design business intelligence dashboards

Duties

• Develop and manage data storage systems and design business intelligence dashboards
• Analyse and interpret data analysis results using statistical techniques and compile various ongoing statistical and institutional reports on operational performance on an annual basis
• Maintain and develop warehouse data to support analytics and business intelligence reports for business decision making
• Review, analyse and validate data to ensure consistency, integrity, accuracy, and correct data challenges through internal stakeholder engagements and recommend improved data requirements
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure that data solutions meet the organisation's goals and requirements
• Contribute to the enhancement and development of research related processes and to support the development of management information on the Fund's research activities

Requisites

• Competencies and Skills Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other equivalent tertiary STEM qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years in analytics and data mining, research, business intelligence and data warehousing
• Knowledge of SQL, including creating queries and manipulating large data sets
• Translate business needs to technical specification
• Strong programming, skills in SQL, Python, R and other programming languages
• Data modelling, data wrangling, analysis, and presentation
• Project management
• Problem solving skills
• Flexibility and good interpersonal skills
