Nedbank is recruiting a Security Risk Officer, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide advice and consult on creating a safe and secure business environment for relevant business areas and clients across Nedbank; in order to mitigate risk
Duties
- Maintain Physical and Property Security Procedures according to Nedbank Group standards
- Continual compliance monitoring and implementation of regulations relating to Health & Safety and Security
- Conduct annual Security Trainings and Audits at all Branches and Business Units
- Ensure all Branch and ATM Camera systems, Access Control, Fire Equipment is timely serviced and in good working condition
- Issue and program Access cards for the NNH Buildings
- Ensure that the necessary training for First Aid, Fire Fighting and Health and Safety are done according to the Health and Safety Regulations
- Conduct annual evacuation drills at all Branches and Business Units
- Managing all guards at all Nedbank outlets and Inspect guards to assure quality and neatness
- Convene Health and Safety Committee meetings on a quarterly basis
- Regular branch visits to ensure testing of all security equipment, changing of Alarm codes and changing of vault & ATM combinations
- Weekly Security Reporting and ensure timely reporting of Security Matters through ERCO reports monthly
- Regular Branch and ATM visits to ensure optimum Safety & Security Standards
- Escalate any security matters to the relevant parties
- Must be willing to travel to the outline branches, business units to conduct security training + security audits
- VIP and staff Protection and assistance if and when required
- Educate business on Health & Safety matters
- Mitigate risk and monitor that the occupational health and safety checks are conducted
- Ensure that administrative duties within Security Department are attended to
- Create awareness and provide feedback during postmortem meetings for corrective action to be taken
- Meet business needs by managing video footage request process
- Monitor and keep up to date with security and intelligence information
- Required to be on standby after hours
Requisites
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification:
- Grade 12 (25 points)
- Relevant Certificate /Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Health and Safety ,Security Risk Management or equivalent
- Computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Valid Driver’s license
- Minimum Experience Level:
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the banking environment
