Nedbank is recruiting a Sales Manager: Unsecured Lending, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To lead, guide, support and coach front-line staff to execute effectively upon the business strategy, enabling the delivery of banking solutions to relevant market segments and ensure client centric experiences that builds sustainable client relationships
Duties
  • Ensure target delivery of all unsecured lending products and services
  • Maintain and grow existing product portfolios and vendor relationships. Achieve quality and turnaround standards through relevant systems, processes, and procedures
  • Understand and respond to client's business, personal and household needs
  • Understand and apply the bank's risk and credit policy and manage client expectations accordingly
  • Improve team efficiency and effectiveness continuously
  • Respond within agreed timelines to tasks and responsibilities deployed onto the relevant systems
  • Lead teams to build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients
  • Lead teams to engage clients in a manner that is relevant to their specific circumstances
  • Manage teams to unearth sales / solution opportunities and to create advocates among their clients
  • Support teams to deliver quality client engagements
  • Manage escalated client complaints to ensure agile resolution
Requisites:

  • Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
  • Preferred Qualification:
  • Degree in Business / Finance / Marketing / Banking or applicable tertiary qualification will be a pre-requisite
  • Minimum Experience Level:
  • 5 years’ experience in a banking environment
  • Must be computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Relevant Regulatory and Product Knowledge
  • Namibian citizenship
  • Valid driver’s license
