Nedbank is recruiting a Sales Consultant - Business Banking, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To educate clients and coach internal Business Banking sales team on Nedbank products and services, so that Nedbanks market share is increased
Duties
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders by networking; fostering collaboration; regular communication and complying with Sales governance and controls
- Support the Relationship Managers with the acquisition of new clients and retention of existing clients
- Exceed sales, growth and profit targets
- Acting as a contact between Nedbank and its existing and potential markets
- Gaining a clear understanding of customer needs and requirements
- Advise on product development and special promotions
- Marketing bank’s products and services to existing as well as prospective clients
- Effective management of credit risk
- Meeting agreed upon sales targets
- Providing superior client services and enhancing the bank’s relationship banking concept
- Originate transactions by scanning the market; marketing and pitching ideas and networking
- Execute transactions by structuring; analysing; negotiating; managing and pitching the deal
Requisites
- Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Grade 12 (25 points) or a Diploma/Degree in Business/Banking related studies
- Applicant must have minimum (5) five years banking experience, with knowledge of sales, credit/risk assessment skills
- Must be fully bilingual and fluency in other languages would be an added advantage
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Office
