Sales & Cold Storage Manager

• Seaflower Group of Companies incorporating the two main Operators, Seaflower Whitefish Corporation Limited & Seaflower Lobster Corporation based in Lüderitz, is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer and requires the services of an innovative and experienced Sales and Cold Store Manager to oversee our operations at our Head Office in Lüderitz
• The incumbent, reports to the Group Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for coordinating and integrating all Sales and Cold store functions in such a way that the company can define and achieve its strategic goals

Duties

• Achieving growth and reaching sales targets by successfully managing the sales activities
• Managing, coaching, and performance monitoring of the entire sales team
• Liaising, maintaining, and improving relationships with clients
• Strategically manage the cold store in compliance with the Company‘s policy and vision
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system
• Prepare annual budget and forecasting
• Execute cash flow forecasts according to sales information
• Maximises profit margins by negotiating with clients on best deals and prices
• Obtains orders from customers and conducts planning or placing of product accordingly

Requisites

• Degree in Sales & Marketing, Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
• Broad experience and expertise in sales & marketing will be an added advantage
• Expertise in warehouse management and procedures and best practices
• Drivers licence (BE) 08
• Advance computer literacy
• Planning & Organisational skills
• Knowledge of accounting systems.
• Extensive knowledge in Business Management
• Broad knowledge in HACCP and Quality Management
