Ohlthaver & List Group is recruiting a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer (m/f), to be based in Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Description
- In this role, you’ll provide technical expertise for the development of the hydrogen demonstration project consisting of a 5MW electrolyser and solar park. Once the demonstration project is operational, you’ll ensure that the installation is operated efficiently, fulfil inspections and secures maintenance
Duties
- Collaborate with Engineering Design teams during the project-phase to ensure efficient operations and maintenance activities of the Hydrogen Demonstration Plant
- Develop and enroll all the maintenance events (maintenance plans and procedures, downtimes, etc.) in cooperation with equipment suppliers
- Analysis of the installations, production figures, spare parts and maintenance activities after start-up of the demo-plant, with the aim of increasing the reliability and availability of installations
- Develop the maintenance strategy and propose improvements based on analyses and technical machine files, with the objective of maximizing process reliability at an optimal maintenance and capital cost
- Develop and facilitate training for contractors and new employees
Requisites
- B.Sc. Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design
- English proficient
