Relationship Manager – Corporate

• Job grade: D3 (Patterson grading)
• Access Bank Namibia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Relationship Manager to lead and manage customer relationships for Corporate. The successful candidate will drive customer acquisition, retention, and financial development within the target market, ensuring the growth of the bank’s presence and profitability in the public sector

Duties

• Define marketing and sales strategies for Corporate clients
• Develop and enhance Corporate sector products and services
• Manage existing customer relationships and cultivate new ones
• Oversee the credit risk framework and ensure effective risk management
• Develop customer management strategies, focusing on customer insight-driven marketing
• Fund the bank with cost-effective liabilities and meet financial targets
• Represent the bank as an ambassador in the country and prepare weekly reports for the Group Head: Wholesale (Business Banking)

Requisites

• A B-tech degree in any discipline (A Master’s degree is an advantage)
• Professional certification in a relevant field is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a bank, with 2-3 years in a team lead role in Corporate
• Proficiency in English
• Namibian citizen or permanent residence
• Skills & Abilities:
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of the public sector market
• Excellent customer service and relationship management capabilities
• Proficient in marketing, selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and excellent oral and written communication
• Presentation and Excel
