Nedbank is recruiting a Relationship Manager: CIB (Mining & Public Sector), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The emphasis of this position will be on the acquisition of new customers for the Bank, the provision of superior service levels and development of new opportunities within an existing portfolio of clients through the marketing of the Bank’s products and services in a competitive Corporate & Investment Banking environment
Duties
- Maintaining and growing an existing Corporate Investment Banking client portfolio
- Marketing of bank’s products and services to existing as well as prospective clients
- Effective management of credit risk
- Meeting agreed upon sales targets
- Providing superior client services and enhancing the bank’s relationship banking concept
- Good understanding of all banking products and systems
- Broad industry and market knowledge, as well as having a sound understanding of local and global economic fundamentals
- Extensive and sound experience in all aspect of Corporate and Investment Banking, with particular emphasis on relationship management
- A sound financial and credit analysis background
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation and marketing skills
- Clear ability to work independently and in a team
- Compelling aptitude to lead meetings
Requisites
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Business or Finance (e.g. BSc Economics, B Comm.)
- Minimum Experience Level:
- Minimum of 5 years, banking experience, of which at least three years in a relationship management position.
- Minimum of 2-3 years high level knowledge of Mining and Public Sector Sectors
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s licence
