Kelp Blue is recruiting a Regulatory Intern, to be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands/Remote.
Description
  • We are looking for a skilled Regulatory intern to join our offtake team and to lead the company’s efforts in product registration and compliance with regulatory agencies
  • The ideal candidate will have a background in public affairs, with possibly experience in navigating regulatory requirements and communicating with government agencies
  • The successful candidate will work with the biotech workstream, and will have regular contact with local public affairs officers
Duties
  • Execute the registration strategy for StimBlue+ and other products under R&D that ensures timely and accurate product registration in line with regulatory requirements
  • Anticipate registration requirements and gather information for new products to contribute to decision-making on product development
  • Collaborate with the offtake and biotech team to effectively register new products and biostimulant ranges, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with Kelp Blue’s overall strategy and objectives
  • Communicate with government agencies and other stakeholders to address product registration matters and ensure compliance, while building positive relationships and promoting the company’s reputation
  • Stay up-to-date on policy developments at the national, regional, and global levels, analysing their potential impact on the company and taking appropriate action when necessary
Requisites
  • Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor/Master’s Degree in political science, international relations, communications, public administration, international law or related fields
  • Experience in biotech, sustainability, agriculture or blue economy industries is preferred
  • Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
  • Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory concepts
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies, media outlets, journalists and other stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to stay up-to-date with policy developments and their potential impact on Kelp blue Biotech
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools
