Accor is recruiting a Receiving Clerk (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The Receiving Clerk will ensure proper receipt of materials and goods. To provide assistance to the Stores
- Supervisor in ordering of goods, receiving, issuing and inventory of Food, Beverage and General stores as per Fairmont standard policies and procedures

- What you will be doing:
- Ensure that all goods received have a valid purchase order
- Ensure that the goods received match the specification required
- Ensure that the goods received meet quality standards
- Liaise with Suppliers, purchasing and units regarding outstanding orders
- Identify codes requiring to be created for new items and submit to the Cost Controller
- Ensure that invoices are captured timorously and accurately
- Ensure that all direct delivery stock is issued out to the relevant departments
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requisites
- Matric
- Minimum of 3 years experience with exposure to Food and Beverage, Operating Equipment and Consumables products
- Must have a broad knowledge of products used in the Hospitality Industry
- Must be able to develop and maintain a good team environment
- Ability to work under pressure (good stress management)
- Must be proactive in controls
- Computer literacy (Ms Office, Excel and Fidelio including any other stock management system)
- Commitment & an ability to handle hard physical work
- Possession of a drivers licence is an advantage
