QA/QC Manager (m/f)

Duties

• Preparation, implementation, and reporting of the Project Construction Quality Plan (CQP). The CQP includes implementation of the Quality Control Process for the construction team, organization of the Work Instructions and Benchmarks, development, and implementation of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP), and training/management of the Quality Control inspection methods
• Quality Manager Solar – must be qualified and have strong knowledge of implementation of a Quality Assurance and Quality Control program on construction sites according to ISO 9001 standards
• Prepare the Project Construction Quality Plan to meet project specific requirements
• Preparation, implementation, training, and tracking of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) with support of the Subject Matter Experts (SME)
• Ensure Benchmarks and Inspection Forms are prepared for each work scope
• Management the Quality Control Table of Contents and Index (TOC) for project specific requirements
• Verify that project folders are established and populated with required documentation results and required data on the required project shared Data Room (DR) – SharePoint or similar
• Ensure that Subject Matter Experts (SME) review the project specifications, engineering design, and OEM requirements and identify all Quality Control (QC) requirements
• Train and management of project QC inspections and documentation to verify compliance with the Construction Quality Plan (QCP)
• Perform secondary QC inspections on work performed by construction crews and initial inspections
• Audits of project Quality Control processed and procedures, including sub-contractors
• Audits of project documentation and QC checklists for accuracy and completeness Train project personnel to perform QC inspections
• Ensure that inspections and documentation are completed per contract requirements
• Identify and document nonconforming inspections and reporting these to the Project Team
• Maintain an NCR log of nonconforming items and corrective actions implemented (NCR)
• Liaison with the Project Manager for audits and reporting
• Perform Cause Mapping on nonconformance (CM)
• Manage assembly and review of QC checklists and other deliverable documentation
• Manage As-built drawings and related documentation
• Complete Quality Control As-built pack including drawings, data sheets, OEM manuals and related documentation

Requisites

• Formal qualification in ISO 9001 and/or related/similar Quality Standards and concepts
• 4 + years QA/QC experience within the Wind/Solar or Renewable Energy construction industry
• Civil, Electrical and Mechanical background experience (4 + years)
• Experience working with renewable energy site implementation and related systems is advantageous
• Have a valid driver license
• Experience with working within standardized procedures (ISO or similar)
