Hollard is recruiting a Portfolio Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To actively drive the sales portfolio of the Sales Team by ensuring targets are met according to set targets
- Key Performance Areas of the Role:
- Quotations: Support agents, approve and negotiate correct discount for agents
- Premium reviews
- Provide Brokers with monthly reports (active policy report, renewals, cancelations)
- Attend to relevant queries from Brokers
- Broker visits
- Assist direct customers with queries
- Provide general daily support to Broker agents
- New Business policies approve and negotiate correct discount for agents
- FIA support - obtaining information from Brokers, e-mail monthly lists to Brokers
- Arrange and co-ordinate Broker Training
- Update Broker information on Broker database monthly
- Loss ratio management
- Post loss underwriting
- Responsible for achieving sales volumes and distribution
- Ensures that all records are continually updated and maintains individual contact with key customers and management
- Responsible for the overall operation and profitability of the Sales Team as well as the achievement of pre-set sales targets
- Provides accurate sales information to the Line manager
- Developing strategies, budgets and reports
- Quality Management

- Product evaluation on a regular basis
Requisites
- Matric (25 points or more)
- Relevant Degree or Diploma will serve as a significant advantage
- At least 3-5 years related sales and administration experience
- 2 Years’ experience in the short term insurance industry
- Sound policy wording knowledge
