Nedbank is recruiting a Payment Clerk, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- This position is to ensure that the Reconciliation team managing EFT/Card & ATM Transaction Processing, Maintenance of ATM Settlement for branches, Operational Support, Customer Escalation Issues, Reconciliations and Rejection Processing within Nedbank Namibia
Duties
- Manage financial losses by ensuring reconciliation correctness, accuracy of flow of information
- Ensure the ATM Settlements of branches are balanced and monitored
- Ensure compliance to business processes, audit requirements and risk management principles
- Ensure the correct documents and records are in place and stored
- Manage projects with the EFT/Card/ATM operations environment
- Ensure achievement of financial targets by meeting client service standards and efficiencies
- Ensure administrative tasks are completed according to relevant policies, standards, and procedures
- Highlight risk and issues by reporting exceptions timeously
Requisites
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level:
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Preferred Qualification:
- Relevant Banking diploma or equivalent
- Grade 12 (25 Points)
- Minimum Experience Level:
- Must possess knowledge of the EFT & Card operations, its products and related risks together with ATM knowledge and controls
- Knowledge of Reconciliations
- Applicant must have at least two (2) years banking and Administration experience
- Computer literacy with system knowledge of Flexcube, Cams, QDMS will be an advantage
