Description
- This role provides support in a specialist area of Human Capital
- This role works with line managers and supports the Human Capital Business Partners in the implementation of specialist Human Capital solutions
- Individually accountable for achieving results through the self
- Providing advice and assistance on all Oragnizational Effectiveness processes and practices
Duties
- Wellbeing:
- Implementing the annual wellness calendar and wellness strategy across all regions
- Responsible for the creation of awareness throughout the company
- Driving and implementing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing initiatives & programs
- Identifying and driving new and appropriate Employee Wellbeing Program approaches and initiatives for Old Mutual
- Developing a health strategy in conjunction with all health and wellness-related services and areas in Old Mutual
- Playing a supportive and advisory role to managers and employees with regards to employee wellbeing issues
- Facilitating the provision of a counselling service to employees
- Supporting the wellness champions in the regions
- Monitoring and analyzing statistical employee wellbeing trends
- Assisting with Graduate and Internship intake programs
- Assisting with administrative duties of Old Mutual’s bursary programme
- Learning & Development:
- Identifies, sources and implements learning programs
- Measures and monitors the effectiveness of learning programs
- Develops and analyses learning MIS to facilitate decision-making
- Participates in the development of the learning programs
- Change Management:
- Analyses change data for the purpose of developing change interventions to understand the impact of the change
- Develops workstream strategy to manage the impacts (e.g. Stakeholder management, engagement, training, or organisation design strategy)
- Develops workstream plan for the duration of the change project
- Develops the required templates for the change project
- Measure the effectiveness of interventions and takes corrective action
- Talent Management:
- Supplies talent data links and information into the Business School learning tracks and assessment centre delivery areas
- Positions Talent Management within the overall HR Management context at Old Mutual and demonstrates Old Mutual thought leadership in the market
- Establishes and maintains effective Talent Management administration processes and practice
- Responsible for the compilation and consolidation of information and reports (i.e. dashboards)
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- Relevant Industrial Psychology/Human Resources degree
- 3-5 years' experience with a strong Wellness background is a prerequisite
- Excellent communicator with a passion for customer service and relationship building
- Ability to think strategically and laterally
- Conflict Management
- Computer Literacy and good numeric skills are essential
- Ability to work under pressure and work independently
- Excellent interpersonal, planning & organizing skill
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Should be willing to travel
