Dundee Precious Metals is recruiting a Maintenance Superintendent: Acid and Ancillary Plants, to be based in Tsumeb, Namibia.
Description
- The incumbent will report to the Manager: Organisational Development and Effectiveness
Duties
- Ensure all Legal, Health, Safety and Environment standards and policies are adhered to
- Lead by example through compliance with the company purpose and values
- Coordinate and facilitate organisational development workshops and initiatives to support Leadership Development, Change Management, and Employee Engagement in line with company's strategy and objectives
- Provide direct support to Line Managers in resource planning i.e. update
organisational structure, labour planning and provide accurate information of labour complement to the Finance Department for labour costs
- Provide support to Line Managers in setting annual performance objectives to enhance the performance of individuals and ensure that performance reviews are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Coordinate psychometric assessments and job evaluation processes with the company approved service providers
- Provide direct support to Line Managers by facilitating the development and updating of job descriptions ensuring that essential details are captured based on the organisation design and in accordance with the business and/or department strategy
- Manage the company Bursary Scheme, Graduates Trainee Development and Understudy Development programmes as well as job attachment and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programmes
- Compile individual development plans resulting from career discussions and ensure the execution thereof
Submit requirements for Skills Levy rebates and ensure compliance with National Vocational Training requirements
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with Line Managers, employees, and other stakeholders
Requisites
- Honours Degree in Human Resources Management/ Development or Industrial Psychology
- Further Qualification in Organisational Development will be an added advantage
- Five (5) – eight (8) years’ experience in Human Resources management with at least three (3) years in Organisational Development
- Excellent Facilitation skills
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven project management skills
- Ability to lead and influence change
- Proficient in using data to drive decisions and measure outcomes
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential matters and information
- Computer literacy (MS Office package with good PPT and MS Excel skills)
- A police clearance from the Namibian police will be required upon appointment
- Must be in possession of a valid Driver’s license: Code 08
