FNB Namibia is recruiting an Ongoing Credit Risk Analyst (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Assist to identify high risk clients through, inter alia, management of the various ongoing risk management processes, such as: Excesses, Expired limits, Covenant monitoring, Risk behaviour, and high-risk process. Assist in managing a portfolio consisting of high-risk clients on an ongoing basis by conducting due diligence investigations compiling status reports, maintaining a high-risk client database, raising provisions and devising action plans and the implementation thereof. Assist in conducting monthly ORM meetings
Duties
- Assist with managing all exposures in the Medium Corporate Office relating to Corporate Debtor Finance
- Maintain and foster sound working relationship with sales, credit and the various product houses in the Medium Corporate Office
- Assist in conduct monthly ORM meetings
- Attend and participate in-country ORM meetings
- Assist in identifying high risk clients through, inter alia, management of the various ongoing risk management processes, such as: - Excesses; - Expired limits; - Covenant monitoring; - Risk behaviour; - High risk process
- Assist in managing a portfolio consisting of high-risk clients on an ongoing basis by conducting due diligence investigations and assist in compiling status. reports, maintaining a high-risk client database and devising action plans and the implementation thereof
- Assess and report excesses to the relevant credit authority
- Be pro-active in identifying risk and innovative in dealing with it
- Re-grading exposures and hand over to Corporate Recoveries within appropriate mandate
- Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies
Requisites
- Minimum qualification : Relevant B Com will be an advantage
- Minimum years of relevant experience: Minimum 3 years commercial banking experience (compliance, credit risk and /or credit) Will be an advantage
- Commercial (company and insolvency law) experience and a good understand of the law of contract relating to credit will be an advantage
