Capricorn is recruiting an On-boarding Specialist (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The On-boarding Specialist position is primarily responsible for the on-boarding and further fulfillment of clients and entities on the Capricorn Investment Platform and general assistance to the AML & FIA Officer
Duties
On-boarding & fulfillment
- Performs daily sanction screening on new clients on boarded
- Ensure all FIA documents are verified and correct
- Ensure the client's risk is assessed
- Responsible for onboarding of new accounts on the Investment Platform
- Ensure information is accurately captured (Client static, fund data, and fees)
- Process, check, and distributes all daily welcoming letters to clients for all investment products/funds
- Understand all operations in Client Administration and if changes occur, the impact on processes
- Ensure cut-off times are managed relevant to the processing of account opening
- Ensure understanding of Internal Business Processes and impact on Client Administration
- Keep up to date with the latest AML/FIA policies/procedures/programs
- Understand Tonbeller system and set-up to assist in client monitoring
- Ensure any alerts triggered are reported on or documentation provided to Bank Windhoek Enterprise Risk Management
- Provide guidance to channels relating to documents required for opening of accounts
- Ad hoc assistants to AML and FIA Officer with respect to regulatory and Internal Audit inspections
Document Management
- Responsible for client document maintenance (Document Warehouse)
- Responsible for preparing documents to be stored at Document Warehouse
- Maintain and ensure document management as per the agreed contract with Document Warehouse; keeping records up to date
- Ensure archiving is maintained as per the agreed contract with Document Warehouse
