Swakop Uranium is recruiting an Officer: Facilities (m/f), to be based in Swakopmund, Namibia.
Duties
- Execute and coordinate office administrative related activities such as housing rental administration and processing of non-contract payments
- Render office services by organizing office/building operations
- Maintain the general office appearance and equipment, reception, repairs and cleaning, to ensure that offices are always neat and clean
- Create Purchase requests, Emergency Purchase Orders, reservations and notifications
- Monitor, control and maintain stock control, supplies, catering requests, stationery, consumables, cleaning materials and refreshments
- Manage Husab Tower access and provide reports when required
- Responsible for the petty cash and retailer business card control, register and reconciliation as per the Petty cash procedure
- Coordinate the disinfection and sanitizing of buildings as required
- Renew the fitness certificates for company buildings
- Recon and control report of fuel accounts
- Assist with monthly invoicing and ensure timely submission to finance for payments
- Arrange and set up facilities contractor meetings
- Maintain PC file backup and Shared Drive data and referencing systems for secure and efficient location and retrieval of documents on request
- Ensure adherence to property agreements as per laid down policies and procedures
- Identify and report all maintenance requirements for all properties
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to facilities
- Prepare monthly invoicing for rentals and ensure timeous submission to finance to avoid any late payments
- Monitor movement of property assets and prepare property asset report
Requisites
- Grade 12
- Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 3 years’ experience in a customer service delivery environment, focusing office arrangements, office efficiency, stock control and facilities management
- Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License
