Standard Bank is recruiting an Officer, Administration (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To protect the Bank’s interests by assisting the Rehabilitations & Recoveries department in the accurate and timeous performing of administrative tasks and duties, whilst adhering to the Bank’s core values, policies and procedures
Duties
- Timeous and adequate actioning of all assigned tasks in the Pre and Post Lock-up categories, including tracing, issuing of letters of demand, outsourcing, property valuations, write offs and any other administrative task that may arise from any collection efforts and assigned from time to time
- Update and maintain demographic records on arrears book, prepare journals for set-offs, transfers and maintain suspense accounts provide/supply customer information and records/statements as required
- Action and update Stop Orders, Debit Order and Due date mandates on arrears accounts
- Attend to vendor invoices timeously
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements, to protect the reputation of the Group and to avoid legal action/sanction in respect of regulatory and operational compliance matters
- Maintain and enhance customer service
- Prepare and submit reports and returns timeously
- Maintain adequate dairy system and follow-up on diarized events
- Maintain productivity in line with set targets
- Confirm and update customer records at all times
Requisites
- NQF Level 6 qualification, equivalent to a diploma
