Merchant Services Business Lead

Description

• To improve the operating model and framework across the organization to ensure and enable sustainable growth

Duties

• Maintain expert knowledge on the strategic direction of the associations (VISA, Mastercard, Union Pay, etc) to align the internal operational model with that direction
• Establish functional revenue targets and identify and pursue opportunities to increase financial revenue in area of responsibility
• Identify and develop key stakeholders and relationships to enhance product roll-out and cross sell opportunities
• Produce consistent high-quality outputs within agreed deadlines and monitor any changes in laws, regulations, association rules, initiatives and relevant industry practices, draft and implement appropriate interventions
• Enable market share growth by introducing and rolling-out innovative new products, programs and services which optimize revenue opportunities, contribute to customer retention and improve customer acquisition

Requisites

• Have a Bsc, B Comm, B Eng or related required with Honours
• 5 years related card experience of which 3 to 4 years at mid-management level
