Namibia Breweries is recruiting a Mechanical Technician (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide 2nd line mechanical maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures, to execute planned, corrective, break-in work, condition based and preventative maintenance, as well as performing a structured approach in fault-finding and break down analysis on failed components
Duties
- Prepare and execute planned maintenance activities
- Provide 2nd line breakdown support to the packaging lines
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Complete documentation/work orders and do proper record keeping of all improvements and modifications made on equipment
- Improve equipment and processes within the packaging plant
- Coach and train operators and mechanical apprentices
Requisites
- N6/S4 Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 5 years mechanical experience (FMCG experience will be an added advantage)
- Experience in technical drawings (Auto Cad), pneumatics, fluid mechanics, power transmission and conveyors (TIG, arc and gas welding will be an added advantage)
