Nampost is recruiting a Marketing Coordinator, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • Primary purpose of position: Reporting to the Manager Marketing & Corporate Communication, the incumbent is responsible for developing plans and executing projects that support the broader and long-term marketing strategy. The incumbent is expected to oversee all digital activities, with the responsibility to drive traffic to the brand through the development and execution of customer acquisition and retention integrated plan
Duties
  • Design, implement and facilitate annual Marketing Plans for Business Units
  • In-house graphic design of Corporate and Business Units marketing and communications campaign materials
  • Participate in the design of a creative and effective Digital Strategy including content management for NamPost’ Social Media platforms and website
  • Integrated multimedia, marketing and communications
  • Coordinate and oversee corporate branding and signage
  • Coordinate the implementation, printing and distribution of corporate collateral
  • Organize and oversee corporate events (special events, trade shows and exhibitions)
  • Coordinate ordering of promotional materials/items and stock control
Requisites
  • Educational Qualification and Experience Requirements:
  • A relevant Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or Digital Media
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Marketing/Advertising & Promotions of which at least one (1) year should have been in a Graphic Design position
  • Knowledge and experience in Digital Media Management and digital trends
  • A Marketing accreditation with a recognized institution is a distinct advantage
  • Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • Knowledge of integrated marketing and communication concepts and projects
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
  • Knowledge and fluency of additional local languages would be a distinct advantage
  • Good understanding and experience of Retail, Financial Services, Mail & Logistics would be a distinct advantage
  • Brand management experience
  • Knowledge of customer care, marketing, advertising and promotions or corporate communications Advanced knowledge of the In–house designing programmes (e.g Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator or CorelDraw) will be an added advantage
  • High level of conceptual thinking ability and analytical abilities, data management, understanding how to measure performance, calculate ROI
  • Must have a style that promotes respect, credibility and trust throughout the organisation
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams
  • Other:
  • Code BE Driving License
  • Willingness to travel frequently
