Manager Strategic Decision and Support (m/f)

Description

• To provide strategic decision support to management by providing timely and accurate insight, in order to add value towards key decisions within the organization. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for the leadership of the Management Accounting function in the organization with the ultimate goal of enabling business to increase market share and maximize profitability for the attainment of short to medium term sustainability

Duties

• Manage Financial Information Reporting
• Lead the ND Management Accounting department
• Lead and create an environment for teams to be the best versions of themselves
• Implement industry Best Practices in Strategy Formulation
• Research, evaluate, and communicate supporting information for the determination of Key Success Factors (KSFs) for sustainable revenue generation
• Assess the relative merits of investment options based on investment type. Provide research and input on alliance and reorganization activities
• Implement industry Best Practices in Strategy Formulation
• Perform and communicate the significance of a cost volume-profit (CVP) and sensitivity analysis in relation to strategic and operational goals
• Plan and Process Interim and Annual Budgets
• Critiques capital project plans based on accepted financial practices
• Research best practices and current innovations in strategy implementation under a particular set of circumstances
• Analyse data using spreadsheets, database tools, forecasting tools, and reporting tools proactively to access and present information in support of business decisions (in collaboration with the Manger Data Analyst)
• Perform Product Profitability Analysis (MSCI)
• Manage, Control and Maintain Product and Project Costing
• Take ownership of self-development Process and leadership

Requisites

• B Degree in Management Accounting or Financial Accounting with 3-5 years’ relevant management accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Preferred/Advantageous:
• Post graduate degree in Management Accounting or Financial Accounting
• CIMA holder or CIMA strategic level.
