Standard Bank is recruiting a Manager, Standard Executors & Trustees (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To be responsible for business development and marketing of Fiduciary services in Namibia. Identify structuring opportunities for existing Wealth and Investment Clients and corporate & Business Prospects, generating referrals through other channels
- Provide specialist product support to the trust businesses and Wealth Management teams to assist in marketing Standard Bank's trust and fiduciary services. Maintain and grow intermediaries and introduces network
- Represent Standard Bank and its associated legal entities in the provision of fiduciary services including Corporate Trusteeships, Nominee and escrow arrangements
- Maximize profitability on income/revenue derived from fiduciary products
- Promote fiduciary products proactively through distribution channels
- Identify new fiduciary clients' needs and facilitate suitable fiduciary products to meet their requirements
- Identify new intermediaries and business introduces with a view to offer suitable fiduciary products to their clients in the most beneficial manner possible
- Implement new products or changes to existing products by identifying new opportunities
Requisites
- NQF Level 7 qualification equivalent to a Degree
- Master’s in Law with experience in Law of Succession and Estate Administration will be an added advantage
- At least 8 years' experience in direct Administration of Estates, drawing up of Wills and Trust Administration
- The ability to interpret regulations and laws that apply to the business and to provide information to business on how to comply
- Expertise on cross border transacting, multi-country risk taking, regulations governing cross border transactions and the risks of trading in multiple jurisdictions
