Manager: Project Management and Business Intelligence (m/f)

Description

• The Manager: Project Management and Business Intelligence has the primary purpose to manage all projects within the organization, from the initiation phase through to completion, with the adoption of relevant methodologies and best market practices to ensure successful project delivery. The role will also be responsible for the development of Business Intelligence solutions to increase efficiency and provide meaningful business improvement and project insights to the organization and relevant stakeholders. The position reports to the Executive Cyber Security and ICT

Duties

Business Intelligence, Digitalization and Business Process Re-engineering

• Assists in the development and review of the Business Intelligence policy/framework for CRAN
• Performs regular assessments and risk analysis to identify risks with current processes and provide inputs on findings
• Ensures division is up to date with emerging technology and that the relevant software is available to the division
• Manages and coordinates all digitalization processes within CRAN and ensures the correct process flows are adhered to and understood within the division
• Manages the Business Intelligence process including quality review and report insights and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders
• Ensures that the relevant legal provisions, policies, guidelines are available for the division
• Maintains record of all change requests to business processes

Project Management

• Defines and maintains project management standards, methodology and frameworks across CRAN
• Co-ordinates with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules
• Conducts feasibility studies for projects identified
• Meets with project team members to identify and resolve issues
• Submits project deliverables and ensures that they adhere to quality standards
• Prepares project status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information
• Establishes effective project communication plans and ensures their execution
• Facilitates change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
• Co-ordinates the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the relevant stakeholders if required
• Obtains stakeholder acceptance of project deliverables and manages satisfaction within the project transition period
• Conducts post-project evaluation and identifies successful and/or unsuccessful project elements for future improvements

Requisites

• A relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Data Analytics and or Business Computing
• A Project Management certification will be an added advantage
• Five (5) years relevant work experience in the ICT industry, plus two (2) years Middle Management/Supervisory level experience
• Understanding of the organization’s core business
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, as well as detail oriented
