Namwater is recruiting a Manager: Procurement, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
  • To oversee, manage and coordinate the sourcing, purchasing and bidding activities in line with the Public Procurement Act of 2015 and its regulations and directive, ultimately ensuring that value for money is maximized and cost savings are generated
  • Department Finance
  • Division Supply Chain Management
  • Job Grade D2
Duties
  • Manage Divisional Budget
  • Optimization of cost/benefit ratio
  • Manage the procurement process for internal customers
  • Manage Relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop Procurement Procedures
  • Draft consolidated Annual procurement plan
  • Manage bidding Process
  • Administrative management of Procurement data
  • Reports on all procurement activities for submission to relevant stakeholders
Requisites
  • Minimum Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management/ relevant Commerce degree– NQF Level 7
  • 9 years’ relevant work experience of which three (3) years’ experience in the Public Procurement Act
  • Legal Requirements:
  • 9 years’ relevant work experience of which three (3) years’ experience in the Public Procurement Act
