GIPF is recruiting a Manager: Operations, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To manage the division in terms of human and financial resources
Duties
- Develop and implement operational processes and ensure staff members are well trained
- Ensure effective and efficient records and data management pertaining to the benefits payments
- Ensure that benefits are currently paid to the right beneficiaries
- Manage members databases and ensure data integrity through data management principles
- To enforce compliance to processes the rules of the Fund, the pension fund act and relevant legislation
- Ensure timely and accurate collection and management of data from MIS, thorough checks for quarterly reporting to Namfisa, reduction in data reserve and reduction in unenrolled annuitants
- Translate strategic imperatives into action plans and tasks
- Draft and implement data management improvements policy and procedures
- Ensure data auditing services through data re-checking to prevent delays and fraudulent activities
Requisites
- Job-related qualifications and experience:
- A degree in Business Administration/Business Management, Accounting and Finance
- Minimum of five (5) years working experience in Administration with three (3) years managerial/supervisory experience in the retirement fund industry
- A Pension fund administration qualification will be an added advantage
