Nedbank is recruiting a Manager Market Risk, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To provide high quality, independent and objective market risk analysis and reporting in order to ensure that risk taking is within Nedbank’s defined risk appetite, in line with the business strategy
Duties
- Check that data in terms of trades; reconciliations and market data are completed regularly and evaluated
- Market risk reporting to internal committees
- Ensure compliance with regulation by sending daily reports to the regulators
- Maintain and build client relationships
Requisites
- Qualification Requirements:
- Degree in Finance/Maths/Statistics or Accounting Degree
- Minimum Experience Level:
- The applicant must have at least two - five (2 - 5) years’ experience in a market risk and/or quantitative analysis within the global markets
- Computer literate (MS Office) with advanced Excel
- Relevant banking experience in a bank or financial institution
