Agra is recruiting a Manager: Key Clients, in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The successful incumbent will be based at Corporate Office and report to the Senior Manager: Marketing
Duties
- Developing a strategy to manage Agra’s key client base
- Playing an integral role in promoting the Agra product and service offering and taking responsibility for the effective on-boarding of key clients and potential new key clients
- Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through a process of facilitation between the client and the direct sales channel
- Focusing on growing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with the existing Agra key client base, together with attracting new potential key clients by identifying new sales opportunities
- Must be able to upsell and cross-sell new products and services to key clients and potential new key clients to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services
- cting as the key facilitator between the key client and all relevant divisions
- Identify, Analyse, Grow and Manage Agra’s key clients on a consistent basis
- Determining the most crucial needs of these key clients and ensuring they receive first-class customer care and service
- Build close relationships with key clients based on a network of professional experts and providing knowledge and advice on their requirements
- Interacting and communicating pro-actively with clients on a regular basis to determine needs and requirements
- Setting and agreeing on targets regarding the growth of Agra’s key client base, as well as the scope and size of business conducted by key clients with Agra
- Carrying out continuous market analysis and research on the dynamics of key clients
- Managing conflict and making use of effective negotiation and sales strategies
- Must be able to handle any credit and administrative queries, utilising internal support, facilitating queries
- Reporting on activities, progress, evaluations and findings to the Senior Manager: Marketing and the rest of the Executive Management Team (Exco) of Agra on a frequent basis
- Networking and cross-selling
- Effective stakeholder liaison and engagement on a national level
- Collaborate with Sales personnel in branches, Auctions staff, agents and other cross functional teams to ensure excellent service levels towards key clients and potential new key clients
- Develop and maintain a proper Agra Customer Data Base with the support of the Information Technology team
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- Relevant Qualification (e.g. Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or related field)
- Minimum 5 years in a similar environment, with a proven track record in client management
- Must have experience in managing major accounts/clients
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken), a second and third language will be an advantage
- Fully understand Agriculture and Farming (primary focus) demonstrated by a broad experience base as well as an in-depth -knowledge of a variety of farming practices and methods
- A valid driver’s license
