Hartlief is recruiting a Manager Compliance & Audit (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To ensure that adequate and effective policies, processes, procedures and controls are designed/implemented, in place and working throughout Hartlief. To be the custodian of Risk management processes and help facilitate compliance with legal, regulatory and financial reporting frameworks with focus on corporate governance
Duties
- Manage overall internal audit function
- Review & summarise all internal and external audit reports to identify and record findings
- Ensure all audit findings are addressed and cleared by taking corrective action or facilitating corrective action where appropriate to resolve it
- Assist with preparation of HL Board meeting packs
- Assist in developing detailed internal control procedures in consultation with leaders of all departments
- Oversee the evaluation of internal controls and drive process improvement process
- Drive training on new processes/control implementation where necessary
- Act as the compliance custodian for the organisation by identifying and addressing areas for improvement on business processes and compliance
- Drive processes to identify risks and to facilitate development, and implementation of mitigation plans
- Drive business continuity processes and perform tests on regular bases on the mitigation plans
- Develop, implement, update and maintain a complete set of financial and compliance policies and procedures for Hartlief
- Lead, coach and develop employees
Requisites
- Honours Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 6-8 years’ relevant experience of which at least 3 years must be Audit related
- CA or CIA Qualification and internal audit experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office is essential
