Coca Cola Beverages Africa is recruiting a Maintenance Controller - Production (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Maintenance Controller reporting to the Manufacturing Unit Manger. The Maintenance Controller will be required to Co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the Level 1 Maintenance teams in Manufacturing and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability
Duties
- Provide specialist technical support for specific plant & services equipment
- Provides level 2 fault finding & root cause analysis and identify and route out chronic failures
- Ensures maximum reliability for equipment/building maintenance and site attractiveness
- Conducted detailed equipment performance analysis
- Identify critical spares for equipment
- Recommend maintenance mix and schedule improvements
- Manage Equipment/Supplier relationships
- Manage equipment upgrades & technological changes
- Maintain Health & Safety Standards
- Compliance to TCCQS (The Company’s Quality System)
- Manage performance and develop staff
Requisites
- Minimum N6 electrical with instrumentation
- Trade tested
- Four (4) years tertiary engineering qualification (Electrical/Mechanical) will be an added advantage
- At least five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory role in packaging environment
- Broad based engineering and packaging knowledge
- Previous production line management experience will be an added advantage
- Deep understanding of Packaging Operations, processes and systems • Deep understanding of Asset Management
- Understanding of Project Management
- Understanding of Asset Management standards and guidelines
- Reasonable understanding of Packaging Materials and Sundries
- Good understanding of Safety, Health and Environment which includes Sustainable Development
- Reasonable understanding of financial management, performance management, talent management
