Coca Cola Beverages Africa is recruiting a Maintenance Controller, to be based in Oshakati, Namibia.
Description
- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa requires the services of a Maintenance Controller, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager
- The primary role of the Maintenance Controller is to ensure that the line and Utilities Equipment’s are always available for production and then produces at the rated speed and perfect quality with minimal waste through optimum maintenance and asset care execution
Duties
- Support the implementation of the asset care plan for the Packaging / Utilities plant
- Verify that the technical teams are carrying out routine and planned maintenance as per planning , and validates quality of work
- Support the implementation of the Predictive Maintenance Strategy, including the Condition Monitoring program
- Responsible for the reliability and uptime of Packaging/Utilities plant
- Evaluate new plant and equipment impact, understands plant operation, analyzes failure modes, and participates in continuous improvement opportunities identified by production teams or engineering support
- Manage Contracted-out maintenance services by ensuring that the service supplied is in strict accordance with supply scheme contract and that of service and product reliability, quality, cost and the service providers own employee behavior is acceptable while on site
- Ensure that technical teams are performing routine maintenance
- Exercise budgetary controls over the asset care requirements e.g. spares
- Support the development of the maintenance budget for the plant
- Update maintenance packages and execute engineering changes
Requisites
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree 4-year tertiary Engineering qualification
- N6 Electrical /Electronic with instrumentation
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance of packaging/Utilities equipment’s
- Previous line management experience an added advantage
