NSA is recruiting a Junior Corporate Communication Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- To assist corporate communication division in the development of formal and ad hoc communications programmes, initiatives, and activities to internal and external stakeholders in the context of the communications policies and strategies (6 months fixed-term contract)
Duties
- Develops, implements and overseas external communication plans, media strategies and marketing programs in accordance with NSA’s goals, mission, and values
- Develops, implement, and oversees internal communication plans and strategies
- Implements social network strategies to further build organizational presence
- Prepares content for and/or design of employee newsletter
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts
- Attends and represent the NSA at forums
- External and internal Communications
- Maintains and update website content
Requisites
- A Bachelor’s Degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism or similar
- A relevant Honours Degree will be an added advantage
- Specific Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate freely and confidently in open forums
- Ability to deal with internal communications requirements
- Understanding of people and their motives
- Ability to influence others constructively
- Basic research skills
