Agra is recruiting a Junior Brand Manager: Non-Retail, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.

- The successful incumbent will be based in Windhoek
Duties
- Day-to-day / Contractual Marketing & Advertising activities:
- Independently complete day-to-day / contractual marketing activities including the media booking and placement of vacancies, auction dates, campaign, competitions, pamphlet inserts, radio broadcasts etc
- Campaign Implementation:
- Proactively liaising with divisions on a regular basis and in accordance to the annual marketing plan and budget to establish their marketing requirements
- Designing campaign plans to be aligned to the approved annual marketing plan and support the division’s unique requirements, business objectives and brand plans
- Executing well-researched, business focused cost-effective marketing / brand campaign plans
- Completing media bookings and placements as well as the procurement, production and timeous delivery of all campaign material and deliverables (e.g. pamphlets, posters, brochures, signage, radio etc.)
- Providing quality control over concepts and projects to ensure brand consistency and corporate identity compliance
- Compiling post evaluation reports, including media expenditure reports, for all projects
- Signage & Branding Management:
- Pro-actively advising on the signage and branding of branches and divisions to ensure brand consistency
- This includes the branding of vehicles, inside and outside branding and signage in branches and buildings
- Procure and coordinate the delivery and installation of signage on sites nationally
- Keep record of all installed signage and branding
- Coordinate the maintenance of signage and branding to at all times reflect the Agra brand
- Event Coordination:
- The planning and execution of several professional events, including branch openings, branch exhibits, trade fairs, shows, expo's etc
- Establish and monitor event budgets:
- Plan, organise and coordinate event logistics
- Meet and liaise with service providers
- Coordinate MC’s, speakers and speeches
- Marketing events to target audiences on different media platforms
- Coordinate guest lists, the production and sending of invites as well as RSVP’s
- Managing registrations and needs on the day of the event
- Major events will include amongst others the Annual Weaner Championship Series, Hartebeestloop and Windhoek Show
- General:
- Execute and/or coordinating all reasonable tasks and responsibilities related to the marketing function which includes and not limited to supplier communication, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship procurement and allocation and budget management
Requisites
- Namibian citizenship
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years experience in a specialized marketing or related field
- Computer literate and familiar with all MS Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational, planning and project-management
- Negotiation skills
- Be able to work independently and flourish under pressure
- Be reliable, proactive and committed
- Valid driver’s license (Code 08)
