NAMFISA is recruiting an IT Technician (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The purpose of this job is to install and/or maintain computer hardware, software and network for the Authority
Duties
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade ICT client devices
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade hardware and software on computer equipment and peripherals
- Install, configure and monitor network equipment and peripherals
- Account for all installations, configurations and upgrades on computer equipment, peripherals and network equipment
- Provide support and Tier I technical assistance on computer, network and peripheral related issues to users
- Educate and train users, and recommend users for appropriate training
- Carry out technical instructions from functional and technical supervisors
Requisites
- A Diploma in Information Technology with Systems Administration and Networks as specializations
- Three (3) years’ proven experience as an IT Technician
- MCSA/MCSE certification will be an advantage
- Knowledge of:
