Coca Cola Beverages Africa is recruiting an IT Support Engineer, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- Coca-Cola Namibia Bottling Company require the services of an IT Support Engineer, reporting to the Finance Director
- This role will operate in an IT organisation to deliver existing foundational Industrialised IT and a newly established fast speed Innovation IT based on state of the art technologies to help drive business performance, shareholder value and market penetration
Duties
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Talk staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, (by means of remote tools, i.e. remote support) to help set up systems or resolve issues
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Assist new users to set up their accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
- Conduct tests on generators and ensure UPS’ and other facilities/infrastructure are in working condition (Might need to ensure the Vendor or site maintenance conduct the tests)
- Test and evaluate new technology
Requisites
- Qualification in Any Microsoft and Network Qualifications
- Minimum four (4) years’ experience
- Ability to think logically
- Ability to work well in a team
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Attention to detail
- Code BE driver’s license
