IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Officer (m/f)

Duties

• Ensuring departments comply with Group (Internal) and other outside regulatory requirements
• Provide administrative support by implementation of systems, procedures and policies
• Completing or participating projects in support of auditors, the board, executive team and/or Group or relative business line
• Managing the IT policies and confirming that we are compliant
• Keep monthly, annual reporting and feedback
• Report, identify risks and take appropriate action
• Assist with General Health and Safety of the company and arranging fire drills
• General communication and coordination with the building manager and staff with regards to DRP
• Awareness and IT policy induction training
• Coordinate compliance and assurance activities
• Managing reporting tools and escalating concerns

Requisites

• IT Risk and Compliance qualification will be an advantage
• At least 2 years working in IT Governance, Risk, Compliance and end-user training and/or internal communication within an insurance environment
• Excellent English (verbal and written) language skills; and/or additional local Namibian language will be a competitive advantage
• Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; Knowledge of visual basic will be an added advantage
