FNB Namibia is recruiting an IT Asset Administrator, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Description
- The IT Asset Administrator controls the procurement, allocation and deployment of software for the organisation
- This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a software license register and conducting software audits to ensure compliance and to project annual software requirements for budget purposes
Duties
- Perform the daily administrative tasks relating to the management of software and technology related hardware within the organization
- Monitor and record software licenses and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts
- Assist in monitoring business unit compliance to approved Desktop Optimisation standards, strategies and practices
- Administer the central asset management system and allocation of software licenses across FNB
- Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes, physical location, and incidences of support
Requisites
- Have Grade 12
- Have 1 to 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
