RMB Namibia is recruiting an International Payments Manager, to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- To oversee the Inward and Outward Swift payments department and strategically align the department to facilitate efficient cross-border foreign exchange payments
- Responsibilities:
- Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
- Creates solutions to meet customer demands
- Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
- Manages risks in own area of responsibility
- Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
- Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
- Serve as the Payments Centre of Excellence for the Corporate Banking Segment through identifying products, processes and projects that impact on inward and outward payment options and processes of the client to allow for faster, more efficient and simpler payments
- Manage account closures for all inward and outward Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) payments
- Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
Requisites
- Minimum Qualification - Relevant Commercial Degree
- Experience - 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at junior (entry level) management level
