Information Security Specialist (m/f)

Duties

• Assisting the CISO in delivering the Cyber Resiliency Program (CRP) relating to technical security capabilities
• Assisting the Information Security Manager (ISM) in the execution of the cyber security strategy through operational activities or specific projects. This includes people, processes, technology, and facilities
• Assist the ISM to maintain and apply an information security architecture and framework
• Reviewing the relevant technical design specifications (for solutions and infrastructure) regarding appropriate safety and security measures being implemented
• Reviewing, monitoring, and reporting on the health and safety of information and technology by maintaining an IS Security Operational Dashboard
• Assisting the ISM in maintaining secure configuration standards for all core IT systems and technologies and measuring and reporting on compliance to such standards
• Maintaining a configuration archive of all IT security technologies, conducting audits to verify the running configurations conforms with configurations and that all changes to configurations followed the signed-off corporate change control process
• Administering Privileged Access Management and Identity and Access Management activities
• Ensuring that assets are onboarded as required to the Security Operations Centre (SOC) monitoring platforms
• Assisting the ISM to coordinate and drive activities to contain the effects of a security breach and to restore the environment to a safe and secure state
• Keeping up to date with all relevant IT security technologies
• Subscribing to relevant IT and IS security forums and keeping up to date with the current cyber threat landscape, continuously evaluating the relevance of such threats, and assisting the ISM in the remediation thereof

Requisites

• B. Com/B.Sc. Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent 3 year degree OSCP, OSEP, OCED, OSWP preferred
• MCSE: (Core Infrastructure and/or Data Management and Analytics) an advantage
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Database Administrator Associate and/or
• Cyber Security Architect expert) an advantage
• CCNA (Security), CCNP(Security) an advantage
• CCSA, CCSE (an advantage)
• ITIL V3 Foundation
• 7 years of experience in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure (including operating systems/services, next-generation firewalls (NGFW & NGTP), networking, databases, storage area networks (SAN), and virtualization)
• 3 years of experience in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Working knowledge of PCI-DSS 3.2.X
• Working knowledge of ISO 27000 family of standards
• Working knowledge of SIEM and UBA systems
