Namclear is recruiting an ICT Service Desk Administrator (C3), in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- NAMCLEAR is the Namibian Automated Clearing House (ACH) and is a designated Financial Markets Infrastructure (FMI) for the National Payment System
- The incumbent provides the ICT Help Desk support function through and resolution of all calls at first Level and escalation as per the Helpdesk System. Manage ICT equipment and provide basic and first Level ICT technical support by troubleshooting end-user issues on various applications, provide clear-targeted communication and IT awareness to staff members
Requisites
- Relevant ICT Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Recognized IT Training in at least one or more of the following: (A+, MCSE, N+ Certification, and MSCA, Sharepoint, SQL, Web Development)
- ITIL/COBIT 5 Certification
- At least two to three years of working experience in a busy IT helpdesk environment
Technical
- Adequate knowledge of computer systems, software, and procedures related to the job.
- Process Management
- Knowledge of ITIL process, change, incident, and problem management
- SQL Query writing (added advantage)
- Technically competent with broad knowledge of systems management, development, and implementation methods with specialist knowledge of Project Management
- Knowledge of standard business processes, work prioritization, and best practices
- The position requires excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, planning, administrative, and organizational skills
- Furthermore, the incumbent must be a team player and have a passion for service
