O&L Leisure is recruiting a HVAC Technician, to be based in Etosha, Namibia.
Duties
- To provide technical support in maintaining and repairing of air conditioners, climate control systems, heating equipment, ventilation units, refrigeration equipment, and Ice machines
- Key Accountabilities:
- Complies and undertakes the preventative maintenance schedule and ensures that all relevant plant and machinery is maintained in accordance with the schedule
- Carry out minor electrical maintenance work, such as repair or replacement of fixtures, including wall switches and outlets, ballast, incandescent and fluorescent tubes and bulbs, fuses, sockets, etc., by applying the right tools
- Carry out maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; clean evaporator drains pans, coils, and filters; lubricate fan and motor bearings; repair and change motors, electrical wiring, belts, compressors, thermostats, fans, floating elements, and defrost timers
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators, and compressors using hand and power tools
- Measure and cut piping and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
Requisites
- Level 3 Qualification in Electrical and Refrigeration Maintenance
- 3 years’ experience as an HVAC Technician
- Computer Literacy
