Bokomo is recruiting a Human Resources Officer (m/f), to be based in Windhoek, Namibia.
Duties
- Reporting to the Executive: Human Resources, the incumbent will be required to:
- Responsible for managing and coordinating the HR reporting function to support the business needs of the Department
- Generates Monthly reports (new hires, leave usage, time and attendance, training and development, leave Management) as required by the Manager HR
- Prepares, submits and/or presents Training Reports
- Assist in the compilation and submission of the Affirmative Action Report
- Supports other HR Specialists by designing customized reports providing source data
- Assists in the analysis of the HR metrics to allow for measuring HR partnership and decision-making
- Update of Human Resource Policies, Procedures, Guidelines and forms amendments
- Work closely with the Payroll Department to ensure workforce information is kept up to date, and any problems identified and addressed
- To run the payroll in the absence of the Payroll Officer as well as assist in salary increase activities
- Assist in the meeting of HR audit, monthly and end of year requirements
- Asset Management and Control – Insurance on Car Schemes and Mobile Phones/Tools of Trade/MTC Admin
- Preparation of yearly increase sheets and letters
- Support in the distribution and tracking of PPE for all staff
Requisites
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management
- Two year’s relevant experience required for the job
- Computer literate in office programs
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
